Detektivisch hochbegabt

It was an ordinary morning at school. We expected a double English lesson and waited for our English teacher. When she arrived, everything seemed to be normal at first and the lesson began. But then a foreign woman came into our classroom. When she introduced herself, we knew something really exciting was going to happen. No normal English lesson , but a big surprise prepared by our teacher: We were about to begin our escape room!

We were divided into groups and got our first clues in English, which was difficult for some pupils, but others in the team could help them. At first it was a bit confusing, but soon we began to work together in our groups to solve the clues one by one. We even got to go outside to the schoolyard and search clues with small metal detectors.

In the end, we managed to find the right combination and caught the murderer of the agent and so justice was served. As a reward we even got some sweets.

This was an exciting experience because most of us had done escape rooms before, but not in English. It was probably one of the most interesting English lessons we have ever had and I wish we could do something like this more often in school.

Dieses Escape-Game haben sowohl die Klasse 8c wie auch die Klasse 7a am Freitag, den 6.3., in der Schule durchgeführt. Es wurde von der Agentur Outclassified.DE durchgeführt, die von Frau Rewer und den Eltern der Klassen gebucht wurde. Die Schüler*innen haben dabei mit viel Freude am Rätseln und Kombinieren ihre Englischkenntnisse unter Beweis gestellt und gleichzeitig ihre Teamwork-Fähigkeiten erweitert.
